The glass-walled shower and the two-person bathtub in the middle of the room were inspired by our travels in the region of Szováta. Energetic in every detail, our room provides the perfect backdrop for Pablo Picasso’s work, a certified print of which we bought after spontaneously discovering the Rosengart collection during a trip to Licern, Switzerland. The fascinating life of Francoise Gilot, the only one of Picasso’s lovers who had the courage to leave the genius painter, and the story of how the photo of the model, in front of the bath tud, came to be taken, could even be the subject of a short novel.

The retention of the hayloft opening above the barn of the former building and the use of a glass structure, which provides a direct view of our garden and terrace, complements this creative, vibrant space.
